About Us
On August 15th, 1989 with the support of the late Sri Rama Rao and his family of Sultanpet, Nandi Village, Chikkaballapur district and the co-operation of Sri G. K. Hirannaiah and his wife Smt. K.S. Leelavathi.
Sridhar Swamiji established the Sri Swamy Sarvadharma Sharanalaya Trust, Inspired by the life, message and work of Sri Satya Sai Baba, Sridhara Swamiji began to serve the marginalized, destitute and poor people of the towns of Madhugiri and Pavagada in Tumkur district and the village of Veerasagara in Bangalore district.
Service to the senior citizens and to the physically and mentally challenged became a unique feature and his primary purpose in life. He dedicated himself to these causes till his Vimukti (demise from the physical body) in 2011.

Poojya Swamiji as he is fondly called is a Monk in the Advaitha tradition propagated by Adi Shankara. He spends most of his austere life in a small kuteera in the premises of the Swamy Sarva Dharama Sharanalaya at Pavagada, Tumkur (Dist), Karnataka. He spiritually guides the inmates at the Ashrama and other Seekars who approach him from far and wide. He travels frequently to meet aspirants and devotees who fervently seek his blessings and guidance in the Physical Form!

An Appeal
PROPOSED OLD AGE HOME BUILDING
We have undertaken a project to provide better amenities and comfortable life with all facilities to the Elderly and Mentally Retarded people residing in our Ashram. To enable us to complete this project we are making a sincere appeal to patrons and well-wishers to donate liberally for this noble cause. Details of the project are given below:
I. The entire building accommodating approximately 100 people with living and bedrooms with attached toilets is estimated to cost Rs 1.2 crores. Each room accommodating 3 persons is expected to cost Rs 5 lakhs. Persons donating the cost of an entire room (Rs 5 Lakhs) will have their individual and family names inscribed on a Granite Stone Slab fixed on the wall of the room. The donor and his / her family are welcome to perform the “Opening Ceremony” for that room.
II. Persons donating Rs 2.5 Lakhs for a room could share the credit / honours with another donor contributing similar amount. Both donors will have their individual names inscribed on a Granite Stone Slab fixed on the wall of the room and are welcome to perform the “Opening Ceremony” for that room.
III. Donations are also invited in terms of steel, cement, sand, granite, tiles etc. Approximate quantities required of such material is indicated below: Steel – 10 MT
- Cement – 2000 bags
- Sand – 20 truck loads
- Granite/Tiles – 5000 sft.
IV. Names of Donors contributing Rs 10,000 or above will be inscribed permanently and displayed on a Granite Stone Slab. Similarly, names of persons donating building materials worth Rs 10,000 or more will also be inscribed and displayed permanently.
V. We seek generous donations in cash or contribution in kind as materials described above to complete the Old Age Home Project. All money donations are exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
